Choose the Ribbon Width Around the Use
The live personalised ribbon range includes 15mm, 20mm, 25mm and 50mm widths. Narrow ribbon suits small packs, tags and tied details. Wider ribbon creates more visual impact on boxes, hampers, awards and large bows, but it also needs more room and a logo that works at that scale.
One Colour or Full Colour?
One-colour branding is a clean option for a repeated logo or short message. Full-colour print suits artwork with several colours, gradients or more detailed campaign graphics. Both are printed on one side in the current range. If the reverse will be visible in a bow, twist or handle, include that in the design discussion rather than discovering it during the wrapping marathon.
Plan the Repeat Before Ordering Metres
Ribbon artwork repeats along the roll. The repeat length, logo size and spacing determine how many complete marks appear on a bow, wrap or cut piece. Start with the finished application: measure the box, tie a sample and calculate the cut length including the knot, tails and a sensible allowance. Then work out the total metres plus setup and wastage.
Current products are supplied in quoted quantities per roll and note that they cannot be provided as one endless continuous roll. That matters for automated packing lines or very long installations, so confirm roll length and joins before ordering.
Colour and Artwork
Contrast keeps repeated artwork readable. Fine lettering can disappear on narrow ribbon, while a very large logo may show only once on a small bow. Use a compact brand mark and approve the scale shown on the proof. The Pantone colour guide helps with references, although the ribbon material and print process still influence the final result.
Real-Life Ribbon Uses
- Corporate hampers: tie a consistent brand detail around varied gift contents.
- Retail and product launches: finish tissue, boxes or bags without manufacturing fully custom packaging.
- Awards and events: add sponsor or event branding to presentations and participant packs.
- Real estate and client gifts: coordinate settlement boxes, bottles and thank-you packs.
- Seasonal campaigns: change the ribbon message while keeping the core box or bag range.
Lead Times and Related Packaging
Current personalised ribbons list a production lead time around 20 working days by air, with sea freight available on request for larger orders. That is product-specific and begins after artwork approval. Add delivery and packing time using the lead-time guide.
Pair ribbon with gift boxes and packaging, gift and paper bags, labels and stickers, trade show products or event merchandise.
Custom Printed Ribbon FAQs
Which ribbon width should we choose?
Measure the finished box, bag, tag or bow first. Narrow ribbon suits small ties and tags, while 25mm or 50mm options give larger packaging more visual impact and more room for artwork.
Can branded ribbon be printed in full colour?
Yes, selected polyester ribbon supports full-colour branding on one side. One-colour options are also available for simpler repeated logos and messages.
Is personalised ribbon supplied as one continuous roll?
Current products are supplied in quoted quantities per roll and state that they cannot be provided in continuous rolls. Confirm roll quantities and required cut lengths before planning production or packing.
