Match the Cleaner to the Screen

The question is not simply whether a screen looks smudged. Device manufacturers may specify different care methods for coated displays, touchscreens, lenses or protective films. Read the cleaner's product information and the device maker's guidance before recommending use. A phone case or glass protector can also change what is actually being cleaned. Where compatibility matters, test on a suitable sample rather than assuming one little bottle is the universal answer to fingerprints.

Liquids, Cloths and Device Care

Never promise that a cleaner is safe on every screen, camera lens or coating. Confirm the stated solution and any restrictions. Recipients should power down or follow their device's cleaning instructions where required, avoid over-wetting and keep liquid out of ports. If the product includes a microfibre surface, check how it should be washed and whether it needs to stay clean of grit that could mark a screen.

For a tech welcome pack, consider whether the cleaner arrives sealed and how it will sit beside cables, notebooks or electronics. A leak inside a mailer is a memorable campaign, just not the one you planned. Check the container closure and full packed dimensions before postage. For shared office equipment, set a simple cleaning routine using approved products rather than leaving a giveaway to stand in for workplace instructions.
