Check the Exact Sunscreen, Not Just the Category
The live sunscreen lotions state their own SPF, broad-spectrum, water-resistance, ingredient and regulatory information. Those details must be checked on the selected product and current packaging. Related zinc or lip products in the category may not carry the same claims, so do not describe every item as SPF 50+ by association.
Sunscreen is regulated, and its mandatory label information is not optional decoration space. The logo must not obscure directions, warnings, active ingredients, batch information, expiry details or other required wording. If a campaign brief conflicts with the product label, the label wins without needing a dramatic courtroom finale.
Tube Size and Carrying Format
- 30ml tubes: compact for pockets, welcome packs and short outdoor events, with flip caps on selected products.
- 50ml tubes: provide more lotion while remaining portable for bags, vehicles and team kits.
- Carabiner tubes: attach to a bag, belt loop or kit on selected products, helping the sunscreen stay easy to find.
- Lip and zinc products: need their own ingredient, use and protection information checked separately from sunscreen lotion.
Sunscreen Is One Part of Sun Protection
Follow the current directions on the product, including how much to apply, when to apply it and when to reapply. Water-resistance periods, if stated, are product-specific and do not mean “apply once and forget about it”. Sweat, swimming, towelling and time all matter.
Sunscreen should sit alongside shade, protective clothing, suitable headwear, sunglasses and sensible scheduling. Australian summer is not a superhero origin story; nobody needs radioactive-looking shoulders to prove the event went well. Organisations should follow current public-health advice and their own workplace, school or sporting policies.
Branding and Distribution
Branding is generally applied to the tube or label area specified for the product. Digital label printing and other methods vary by format. Keep campaign artwork clear and leave required information legible. Check that cartons are stored according to the product directions and that units are not left for long periods in excessive heat, such as a closed vehicle.
Plan where sunscreen will be available and who is responsible for checking stock and expiry dates. One branded tube buried at the bottom of the registration desk is technically present and practically invisible.
Useful Sunscreen Briefs
- Outdoor events: portable tubes distributed with clear sun-safety information and access to shade.
- Sports clubs: sunscreen included in team or volunteer kits, with reapplication guided by the label.
- Workplaces: product selection aligned with the organisation's sun and heat-management programme.
- Travel packs: compact formats chosen around current transport rules and destination conditions.
Minimums, Timing and Related Sun Gear
Minimums, shelf life, branding and lead times vary by product. Confirm current stock, expiry details and required delivery date before ordering. See the shipping and lead-time guide.
Build a broader programme with wide-brim hats, caps, drink bottles, health and personal products and umbrellas.
Branded Sunscreen FAQs
Is every product in this category SPF 50+?
No. The sunscreen lotions state their individual SPF information, while related lip or zinc products may have different or no SPF claims. Check the exact product and current label.
Can our logo cover the whole sunscreen tube?
No. Mandatory directions, warnings, ingredients and regulatory information must remain clear. Branding is limited to the approved area for the selected product or label.
Does water-resistant sunscreen still need reapplying?
Yes. Follow the product directions for application and reapplication. Swimming, sweating, towelling and time affect protection, and the stated water-resistance period varies by product.
